Reopening Update from The Minor Memorial Library
The library is now open.
Curbside pick up is available and encouraged.
Some services may be limited.
Library hours are Monday 12-7, Wednesday 10-5, Thursday 12-5, Friday 10-5, and Saturday 10-2.
The book drop is available 24/7 for returns.
Masks or face-coverings are required. We understand that there may be medical or other conditions that prevent a patron from being able to wear a mask – in this case we have contact-free pickup available to all patrons or private access to the library can be arranged by appointment. The Library’s policy to provide service this way helps to protect the public, the employees and particularly those who may be more vulnerable.
Please plan for a short visit.
All visitors over the age of two are required to wear a face covering. If unable to wear a face cover, contact-free pickup is still available to all patrons or access to the library can be arranged by appointment.
You may use the copier or send a fax using our self-service machine. If you need staff assistance, they will assist you from a distance of at least 6 feet. We request that you bring exact change with you.
Please be aware that throughout the day, the staff will be cleaning high touch surfaces frequently.
During this gradual reopening, the following services will be unavailable:
- Toys in the children’s area
- Public bathrooms and water fountains
- All meetings, visitations, and in-person programs
One public computer will be available for use.

It’s important to remember that COVID-19 isn’t connected to race, ethnicity or nationality. Stigma will not help fight the illness.
