Community Reading of The Crucible by Arthur Miller

The Arthur Miller Writing Studio Project invites the greater Roxbury community and beyond to participate in an intergenerational reading of Miller’s classic play, The Crucible.Â
Students, seniors, and all members of the community – guided by professional writers and actors – will read the full play in a welcoming round-robin format.
Participants may choose to either read aloud or to simply follow along with the script.
Take-home writing prompts will be provided to deepen engagement and reflection on the perennial relevance of The Crucible. Each participant will receive a published copy of the play along with a writing journal.
Refreshments are included. No experience necessary. All are welcome.
