The Friends of the Roxbury Library
The Friends of the Roxbury Library was founded in 1989 to support and promote library services and activities. The Friends raise money to supplement the library budget through a yearly membership campaign and special events, such as the book sale that takes place each June. While the Library Board of Trustes maintains the library building and staffing, the Friends provide the library with books, dvds, audio books, e-books, museum passes, hospitality for the art show receptions, and funding for children's and adult programs. Our "Friends" help to make our library a very special place. The Friends publish the "Bookmark" newsletter, which is mailed to all Roxbury residents. To join the Friends mail a donation to: Friends of the Roxbury Library; P.O. Box 74; Roxbury, CT 06783

Our beautiful Hodge Library & Museum received a needed facelift with the addition of a new slate roof. Thanks to the generosity of the Town and a very hard working crew, the work was completed in August.
