“Thirty Odd Drawings and Way Too Many Copies of ‘Blitt’ (The Book)”

An exhibit of drawings by cartoonist and illustrator Barry Blitt

Since 1992, Barry Blitt has contributed illustrations and more than one hundred covers to The New Yorker, including “Deluged,” which won the 2006 Cover of the Year award, given by the American Society of Magazine Editors, and “The Politics of Fear,” a finalist for the same award in 2009.  His drawings have also appeared in Vanity Fair, Time, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic and The New York Times.   His work for children includes The 39 Apartments of Ludwig van Beethoven and Once Upon a Time, the End (Asleep in 60 Seconds).

Copies of Barry Blitt’s new book, “Blitt,” will be available for purchase and the author will sign copies during the opening reception.
